Client, Treatment & Practice Policy

Detox by Daiane operates as a professional, ethical and results-driven body care practice. All treatments are delivered within a therapeutic framework, with client safety, dignity, comfort and confidentiality at the core of every experience.

Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows

All appointments require a valid card to be provided at the time of booking to secure the session. No payment will be taken unless the cancellation policy applies.

We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to amend or cancel an appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend an appointment, will be charged at 100% of the treatment fee.

As a boutique, independent practice, treatment time is reserved exclusively for you. Late cancellations and no-shows directly impact the business and availability for other clients.

Late Arrival

If you arrive late, your treatment time may be shortened to avoid disruption to subsequent appointments. Where possible and at the practitioner’s discretion, the full treatment time may still be provided.

The full treatment fee remains payable regardless of arrival time.

Payment

Payment is required on the day of treatment and must be completed before leaving the premises.

We accept major credit and debit cards. Cash payments are accepted where applicable.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for purchase and are valid for six months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.

Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be extended beyond their expiry date.

A valid voucher must be presented prior to treatment.

Treatment Satisfaction

Your comfort is important. If at any point during the first ten minutes of your treatment you feel uncomfortable or wish to request adjustments, please inform your therapist immediately so changes can be made.

Concerns not raised during the session cannot be addressed retrospectively, and the full treatment fee will remain payable.

Professional Conduct & Boundaries

Detox by Daiane is a professional therapeutic environment.

All treatments are strictly non-sexual and delivered with professionalism and respect.

Any inappropriate language, behaviour or conduct will result in immediate termination of the treatment, with the full fee remaining payable.

Serious or repeated incidents may result in refusal of future bookings.

Etiquette & Environment

We maintain a calm, discreet and welcoming environment. Clients are asked to respect others by keeping voices low and mobile phones on silent wherever possible.

Pregnancy

Clients must inform us at the time of booking if they are pregnant.

For safety reasons, treatments are not offered during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Pregnancy-safe treatments may be offered thereafter, subject to assessment.

Health Conditions & Medical Disclosure

Clients are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy, or medications at the time of booking and prior to treatment.

All clients must complete a health consultation form before treatment.

In certain cases, written medical clearance from a GP or consultant may be required.

Detox by Daiane reserves the right to modify or decline treatment if safety cannot be assured. Individual responses to treatments may vary, and specific results cannot be guaranteed.

Qualifications & Insurance

All treatments are delivered by appropriately qualified and insured practitioners, working within their professional scope of practice.

Age Policy

Treatments are primarily intended for adults.

Clients under the age of 18 may be treated with written parental or guardian consent and may require a parent or guardian to be present, depending on the treatment.

Consent, Safeguarding & Privacy

Client dignity, privacy and consent are central to our practice.

Verbal consent is obtained before and during treatment, and clients may request adjustments or discontinue treatment at any time.

Appropriate draping will always be used, exposing only the area being treated.

Safeguarding concerns are handled in accordance with relevant UK guidance.

Data Protection & Confidentiality

All personal and medical information is handled confidentially and stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR and data protection legislation.

Information will only be shared where legally required or with explicit client consent.

Complaints

Any concerns or complaints should be raised directly so they can be addressed promptly, fairly and professionally.

Right to Refuse Service

Detox by Daiane reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where it is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or where these policies are not respected.
